Shyamala Navratri 2022 Dates

Every year, the Hindu calendar celebrates four Navratri festivals.  Those are

  1.  Vasantha Navratri in the month of Chaitra 
  2. Varahi Navratri in the month of Ashada
  3. Sharda Navratri in the month of Ashvayuja 
  4. Shyamala Navratri or Matangi Navratri in the month of Magha

These four Navratris occur every year. The Navratris of Chaitra and Ashwayuja are well-known. Gupta Navratri and Gupta Navratri are the other two. This is only done by people who have a tradition. Gupta Navratri is a Hindu festival celebrated mostly in North India. In contrast to other pujas and Vratas, Gupta Navratri does not invite everyone. All of this is done in perfect secrecy. During the nine days of Gupta Navratri, Goddess Durga is worshipped in nine different forms, known as Navadurgs.

This Navratri is known as Shyamala Navratri in South India. This Navratri is one of a kind. On the Navratri festival, devotional worship of Goddess Shyamala provides favourable employment, higher positions, education, and wealth.In South India, this Navratri is known as Shyamala Navratri. In the Hindu calendar, this Navratri is very significant. Devotional worship of Goddess Shyamala during the Navratri festival brings good jobs, higher positions, education, and wealth. Puranas and Itihasas also tell us to construct solid marriages between husbands and wives and to marry as soon as possible for those who are single. Adi Parasakti takes the form of Sri Lalita Devi and re-creates the entire cosmos in order to defeat the demon Bhandasura. Shyamala was created in order to produce goddesses, and she was named Prime Minister of Goddess Lalitha (Mantrini). Because of this, Shyamaladevi is also known as Mantrini Devi. Matangi is the name given to this mother in Dasha Maha Vidya.

Puja Vidhanam

Swap Kunkumarchana with Matangi Ashtottaram, Shyamala Shodasha Nama puja, and Nitya Pooja for this Goddess. If feasible, recite Matangi Stotras such as the Hrudaya Stotra, Kavacha Stotra, Sahasranama, and others. Dress in a green or red hue if at all possible. To embellish, red flowers should be utilised. Payasa should be served in the same manner as prasada. Also recite the Shyamala Shodasha Nama Stotram.
