Calendars and Panchangas in India dating back to about 2,000 years are calculated based on the theories of Drik Siddhanta and Surya Siddhanta.
Of these, Surya Siddhanta is the oldest written by Varahamihiru, Bhaskaracharya, and Aryabhata. This theory is the source of everything.
According to this theory, the astronomer from the state of Kerala established the Drik Siddhanta method in 1431 that the solar scale or the solar cycle varies from 3 minutes to 24 seconds per year. It standardized and modified the Surya Siddhanta theory and established the theory of Drik Siddhanta. This pattern was first discovered by the Indian Government in 1952 when Jawaharlal Nehru was Prime Minister. To this day The government recognizes this practice. This Drik Siddhanta theory is mostly followed in our country and believes in accuracy in dates and time.
